Pronounced like the French phrase “c’est la vie,” Xay Lavie is the moniker and multi-disciplinary project of songwriter/producer Xavier Paul. The recent UCLA graduate combines influences across different mediums like indie rock, bossa nova, surrealism, and the impasto painting style.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Xavier

Although classically trained, Xay Lavie incorporates experimental textures, lush harmonies, and boundary-pushing music that touches on social themes like solitude, acceptance, and romantic misfortunes. With a unique vocal-plus-drumset stage presence, feelings will definitely be felt during and after the performance.
